Chrome Powders

AMG Chrome is a leading producer of chrome and other metal alloy powders. Our powders are manufactured to exacting customer specifications using state-of-the-art crushing, grinding, sieving and blending facilities on our site. We control and assess grain size throughout the production process and measure both purity levels and particle size distribution at the AMG Analytical Services laboratory.

Our range includes chrome powder, high carbon chrome powder and de-gassed high purity chrome powder. Chrome’s unique properties (resistance to wear, oxidation and corrosion) make it an ideal material for the manufacture of welding electrodes for superalloys, stainless steel and special steels. Additionally, our powders are used in renewable power technologies, for thermal spraying and hard-facing coatings, and in powder metallurgy. Besides chrome, we also offer a wide variety of other metal and alloy powders such as ferro titanium, ferro boron and ferro aluminium to the welding, hard facing and hard coating industries.
