This project was promoted in the White House’s running list of new investments under President Trump’s second term, reflecting a broader wave of commitments to expand U.S.-based production, innovation, and job creation.
Chrome metal is designated a Critical Material by the U.S. government, and this facility will become the only chrome metal production site in operation within the United States.
